Despite the profusion of Patents on the subject of clinching, the engineers at ClinchTech realised that there was more development that could be done to improve the tools for applications with ductile materials and especially for the more difficult applications with Stainless Steel.		  
The company reviewed all the literature and Patent Approvals on the subject and undertook original research to design more effective clinch tools than had been seen before in the market.
