Clinchtech’s punches and dies, patented in Europe and N America are unique:
There is the die for the cut joint (the CNL range), where the die blades have a double cutting edge. After removing the biasing spring, simply turn the blades through 180°, reinsert into the die body, refit the spring and there is a new die at no extra cost.
The double ended punch for cut joints ensures long tool life and accurately aligns the punch and die. Chipped punches and dies caused by misalignment of punch and die are avoided.
The force required to make the Clinchtech joint has been reduced, which means that tooling life is improved.
Tools can be manufactured to be direct replacements.

Not only does Clinchtech excel in the manufacture of tooling, the company also designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of innovative hand-held, semi and fully automatic clinch joining machines.
Using CadCam facilities, we design the complete machine in house and manufacture in our modern works in Mildenhall. We provide digital photographs during assembly, which saves you time and expense in travel. When a meeting is required we have the facilities for project briefing and meetings. On completion we send engineers internationally to install and maintain the machines in production.
The clinch tools have patent protection in the EU and in the United States.
